Easter days out in the New Forest
Updated: Mar 22
Easter is such a beautiful time to visit the New Forest. We are really lucky to be situated in the heart of the National park and only a short train journey from Southampton, Bournemouth, or even London.
Why not plan an Easter adventure for the whole family? Arrive early to make the most of the day, and why not pack a light lunch?
We recommend that you hire some bikes from Cycle Experience in Brockenhurst, visit www.cyclex.com to make the most of your time here, and head off into the National Park to go exploring.
There's so much to see and plenty of amazing open spaces to enjoy. Springtime is when the new foals start to arrive, the forest is full of blossoms, and the weather is warmer.
You will see herds of New Forest ponies, cows, and even deer as you cycle about. Remember please, not to touch or feed them, they are wild, and you could harm them.

After so much exploring, you are sure to work up an appetite, so come and join us for an early dinner, before catching the train home again.
We are family-friendly and open from 5 pm - 9.30 pm, so even the smallest family members can enjoy a lovely meal before heading back home on the train.
Join us this Easter for a really exciting day out in nature and end it with a fantastic meal at Enzee Brockenhurst.
